Thing 2

I'm slow with continuing my things, but I have finally finished Thing 2.
A few of the items I was thinking about while watching and reading the information was (1st) how incredibly easy it was. I can see how this technology is going to make a difference in the way that patrons are able to take online trainings or receive personal video mail. How exciting! (2nd) Library staff from rural areas are going to be able to participate in trainings, meetings and updates for there continuing education. (3rd) As libraries we will be able to better offer update information for patrons who are using these items in there home. I feel it just makes libraries more adaptable.
I can see how the feeling of privacy could become an issue for patrons. Although upon the start of using some of these tools they will have an understanding that it is being put out there for the world.
Overall I'm excited that libraries are embracing the new technologies and adapting them to their needs!!
